ISBA publishes jonathan phillips’ article on auto-renewing agreements

In June, we published a blog article about auto-renewals in e-commerce. Since then, Jonathan Phillips has fleshed out the topic and submitted it to the Illinois State Bar Association for publishing.

The Intellectual Property Section Council just published an article on auto-renewals and related topics with Jonathan’s co-authors Steven Baron and Leah Hall. The article, The FTC Takes on Fake Consumer Reviews and Auto-Renewal of Subscriptions, is recommended reading for any attorneys representing e-commerce companies or in-house counsel for them. Baron, S., Phillips, J., Hall, L., FTC Takes on Fake Consumer Reviews and Auto-Renewal Subscriptions, Intellectual Property, Ill. State Bar Assn., Vol. 63, No. 1 (Sept. 2023)
